PDEA REGION 6 On Dec. 16, PDEA K9 conducted andinterdiction unit conducted random inspection at the cargo warehouse andbaggage conveyors of the Kalibo International Airport in Aklan province. PDEA national director General AaronAquino, said unmanned runways and private ports have become favorite landingspots for private airplanes, seaplanes and even yachts, loaded with bulk ofillegal drugs. PDEA’s on-going inspections aim to wardoff entry narcotics in the region and send warning to couriers that areas aremonitored regularly for any possibility of illegal drug transactions and thisholiday season.
